 Sijjin is a supernatural horror film series from Turkey debuted in 2014. The title of this franchise is derived from the Arabic word Sijjin (سِجِّين‎) meaning either a book that lists the names of the damned or a prison, located in the bottom of hell. However, the word's origin is unknown. It appears in the Qur'an in Surah 83:7–9. A similar word (Sijill) appears in 21:104 often translated as 'scroll'.

The summary of the movie, which will be released on September 2, is as follows;
Orhan and Sedat are childhood friends. Years later, Orhan fell in love and married each other with Sedat's sister, Kader. Car accident by Sedat becomes the turning point of all three lives. Sedat's son Mehmet is paralyzed. Destiny cannot remember its past. Orhan blames Sedat for this incident and cuts all communication with him. Sedat is disorganized because of his remorse and strange eerie events. Orhan does something terrible for the sake of losing his first and only love, Destiny, which he loves so much!
